Rev. Alfred C. Langer, 64, of Quitman, Arkansas, died Thursday, April 15, 2010. Al was a minister and school teacher and also worked in construction. He was a member of the Howard General Baptist Church. He was a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas.
Al is survived by his wife of forty-seven years, Ineca Langer; his children, Elisabeth (Doyle) Fouse of Stilwell, Oklahoma, Danny Langer of Conway, and Becky (Jim) Henry of Romance; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Albert Langer of Romance; and one sister, Mary Ann Anderson of Ward. Al was preceded in death by his parents, Arvin and Marietta Langer and a brother, James Langer.
Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 19, 2010, at Howard General Baptist Church in Quitman, with burial in Lebanon Cemetery in McRae.
